At the important moment of celebrating the centenary of the Communist Party of China and the key node of the historical intersection of the two centenary goals, in order to comprehend and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the Central Mobilization Conference on Party History Study and Education, to learn Secretary Chen Yiqin’s speech on Party history for the memory of the martyrs of Kunniushan Battle, to encourage the students to learn the histories of the Party, New China, the reform and opening, and socialist development, and to continue the education campaign on the theme of "Never Forget the Original Aspiration and Always Keep the Mission in Mind", the Party members of the School of Foreign Languages visited Xifeng Concentration Camp, the national patriotism education base, paying tribute to the revolutionary martyrs with flower baskets and listening attentively to the heroic stories of the revolutionary martyrs so as to strengthen the original aspiration, communist ideals and beliefs, and the sense of responsibility.

On April 23, Preliminary Class of Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, in collaboration with the School of Foreign Languages and seven student organizations, visited Xifeng Concentration Camp to carry out the learning and education of "Four Histories", paying tribute to the revolutionary martyrs, listening to their stories and inherit the red spirit. A total of 170 people participated in the event, including Hu Xigen and Xiao Ya, from the armed forces department of the school, Kang Wei, teacher representative from the school of foreign languages and Liu Tianqi and other student representatives, preliminary class members, from seven student organizations.

Before the "Loyalty Song" group carving, Hu Xigen, the teacher of the armed forces department , first of all gave a micro party lecture with "a big party and a small boat" as the theme --- the story of the heroes in the Xifeng concentration camp. Then the solemn national anthem sounded, and the ceremony of laying flower baskets to the people's heroes officially began.

At the end of the activity, Mr. Kang Wei of the College of Foreign Languages led all the Party members to review the pledge of joining the Party, and after the oath, led all the Party members to bow in procession and lay flowers for the heroes.

The activity has inspired our students with the glorious Party history and the spirit of “Never Forget the Original Aspiration and Always Keep the Mission in Mind” and has strengthened the students' sense of responsibility and mission. It will also be great help for the students to combine the "Four Histories" learning and education with the learning and transmission of Chinese excellent traditional culture.
